I am not learning my job on your business. As a senior professional I can
hit the ground running as I learnt my skills at some of
the PR industry’s best agencies, including Hill & Knowlton,
Weber Shandwick, Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster and Fleishman-Hillard.
Just because I am senior, does not mean I only
do strategic consultancy. I may have reached the dizzy heights
of board director before turning interim, but I am prepared to roll up my
sleeves too. I come from a family of hard working small business owners and
I started my career working for a husband and wife team and their cat.
If you can PR an envelope… My
first client was an envelope manufacturer. It got better and I have since
worked for Orange, Royal Mail, Samsung, British Steel/Corus, Cadbury, BP,
Reckitt Benckiser, The Carphone Warehouse, Simply Switch and Ernst & Young. The most fun client was Butlins and the most glamorous was
De Beers. As for the worst…I’d never tell.
